Dinner at Pine Tree Bless

I had booked a steak dinner with JTB/Japanican. I hadn't originally thought it would have been teppenyaki but it turned out that the restaurant classifies itself as American /Italian. Pine Tree Bless is a very stylish restaurant and bar upstairs in Nana's major DFS duty free shopping centre. The centre is kind of like the outlet shopping centre at Melbourne's Southern Cross Station if the shops there were all high end labels: Louis Vuitton, Tiffany,  Breitling, Bulgari and the rest.
Upstairs is a nice intimate restaurant with good food, a pretty good drinks list and live piano music. It would make a pretty good spot to take someone on a date.
The bartender/manager was pretty cool: a friendly 52 year-old with a Mohawk who speaks English, knows his drinks and his major knowledge of Australia is "Men at Work's" song downunder. He introduced me to one of his  I who had studied in Australia - she spent a year in Perth and when he found out I was from Melbourne,  he produced a bottle of gin from Melbourne Gin Company. Food was great, the Wagyu steak cooked just the way I like it.
It was a good way to end my time in Okinawa.
