Fukuoka
I m now in Fukuoka after a one hour flight from Yakushima flying Japan Air Commuter, who a part of JAL. Friendly and helpful staff. They pointed out that my suitcase had developed a crack almost completely around one of the wheels before I boarded the plane. They were quite concerned that I wasn't aware of it,which aims wasn't. I had noticed a smaller crack near one of the other wheels which was no where as bad.
So once I got to Fukuoka I checked with my hotel if they could dispose of my damaged suitcase and picked up a new one at Yodobashi Camera. Yodobashi, like Bic Camera area sort of super sized equivalents to JB Hifi,multi-storey and sell a lot more than cameras. I got my suitcase tax free plus a discount for using my credit card, arigatou.
On the subject of Fukuoka, it's pronounced Foo-ko-ka just in case someone tries to emulate one Australian Sports Commentator from a swimming event several years ago.
