Yakiniku

On returning to Ishigaki it appeared the the weather had changed dramatically and was raining.  One of the staff had recommend the yakiniku here. Yakiniku means grilled meat and is what the Japanese call a Korean BBQ. At the yakiniku restaurant they have Ishigaki Wagyu, which is a high grade Japanese beef similar to the quality of Kobe beef. The meal came with various slices of steak and tongue as well as vegetables and a large prawn that you cook over the grill set in the table before apply one of two different sauces . It was followed by dessert with one of the items being salted cream, which was really nice.
