Yakusugi Land

Yakusugi Land isn't a theme park but a more accessible are of Yakushima's forests. These forests are listed as world heritage by UNESCO and we're the inspiration for the forests in the animated movie Princess Mononoke by Studio Ghilbi. Yakusugi Land can be reached by road, which is very narrow in parts. Passing the odd car and bus gave my car's proximity alert system a bit of a fit.
